Swimming in Texas State Parks
From spring-fed rivers to Texas-sized lakes, open ocean swims to diving in a pool, Texas State Parks offer a full range of swimming options.
Many swimming pools open seasonally or close occasionally for maintenance. Parks may temporarily close swimming areas because of environmental conditions like drought or flooding. Please check with the park or call park information (1-800-792-1112) to confirm you will be able to swim when you visit.
